Oklahoma City, OK, December 2025 — The musical theatre faculty at Oklahoma City University have selected student Luanda de Hilster to direct and choreograph a short Christmas performance for the Hobby Lobby Creative Division’s corporate holiday event. De Hilster was chosen when professors who were on busy to do the show themselves, needed a strong musical theater student who they felt could handle the job. Luanda was chosen.
In this assignment, she will oversee staging, choreography, and performer coordination for a Christmas show program tailored to the creative division of Hobby Lobby’s needs. Hobby Lobby’s national headquarters are located in Oklahoma City and this was part of their internal holiday celebrations.
A Success
The show as reported by those involved went very well. Luanda wants to thank all the students involved and especially the musical theatre faculty who recommended her for the assignment.
